This is part of the upcoming review of the CUGC Christmas Expedition to Portmoak (Scottish Gliding Union), 2018.
My 103rd glider flight at Portmoak airfield in an ASK-21 (G-CHPW), winch launch on runway 28L. Made an attempt to soar on the Bishop hill, but I was reluctant to enter the cloud under such conditions.
A high base and final was used, because I reserved the possibility to be diverted to other runways, given that on the previous day, I had two landings where I was not able to land on the planned runway. There was one occasion where I was forced to change my plan twice.
As an aside, I have recently updated to WordPress 5.0. My opinion is mixed: the new editor is certainly 100x better than the original one, given that the functionality to subtract everything into blocks and manage them at ease. However, there seems to be a bug which I am currently working on: might as well be a problem with my environment. I am still exploring the other new functions.
